ATU Sligo Innovation Centre

ATU Sligo Innovation Centre assists undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore and develop their ideas, learn how to think creatively, apply an innovative approach to problem-solving and identify new business opportunities.

We also collaborate closely with ATU academics and secondary school facilitators on student entrepreneurship programmes, events and competitions.

Student Entrepreneur Programmes

Sligo i-Days will promote health innovation by inviting students from all academic areas to receive an introduction to practical health innovation tools and compete in teams to tackle real-life health challenges.

The Foróige Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) for second level students is a youth entrepreneurship education & development programme. ATU Sligo Innovation Centre hosts and participates in judging the annual NFTE Regional Finals.

Student Inc. encourages student entrepreneurs to assess the feasibility of their business ideas and start a business in a safe and nurturing environment. Student Inc provides students with seed funding and access to a network of entrepreneurs, trainers, mentors and investors.
