ATU Sligo Innovation Centre is the focus this week of the Remote Work Sligo Campaign. As part of this, a video was produced featuring Michaela Esperjesiova, a participant on this year’s Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers; a programme hosted at the Innovation Centre.
Michaela’s business The Ocean Apothecary makes skincare products for individuals who are exposed to salt water – sea swimmers, bathers, surfers etc. The products are specially formulated to restore the skin’s natural balance. Michaela completed the full-time Phase 2 of the programme to advance her venture through tailored mentoring and investment pitch training.
New Frontiers is the nationwide programme for ambitious startup founders with an innovative business idea that has the potential to scale and provide employment. Equipping you with the right connections, skills and route to funding your start up, it is sure to empower the building of a successful and sustainable business venture.
ATU Sligo Innovation Centre currently houses and supports startups and entrepreneurs across many industry sectors including healthcare, energy, IT/software and food development. We also host and support advanced research groups emerging from ATU Sligo to help pave the way along the commercialisation pathway.
The Centre is always keen to engage with startups and those with solid business ideas. Feel free to contact us if you are looking for office or hot desk space. We have an excellent location and there’s the added ability to be able to collaborate with and have access to academic networks.
