North West Regional Skills & Cyber Ireland‘s North West Chapter have launched the Cyber Security Skills Audit Report for the North West.

This research project was commissioned to examine the shape of the cybersecurity sector in the North West (NW) region as well as to identify the key skills gaps and challenges that need to be addressed to help the sector grow and flourish.

“The cybersecurity industry is set to grow– with 10% average annual growth Worldwide in spend estimated up to 2026 [iv]. Ireland is in a good position to benefit from this with a high presence of global cybersecurity firms in the country [v]. Cyber Ireland estimates cybersecurity jobs nationally will more than double to 17,000 by 2030.”
